Lifting
the Shadow: Toward a Nuclear-Weapons-Free World.
A conference to address the political, moral, and cultural
dimensions of the growing nuclear threat and to help
mobilize for its elimination.
May
2, 2005: The Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue (at 34th
St.), City University of New York.
The
conference will be followed by an open reception in
honor of atomic bomb survivors and an evening of music,
political satire, poetry, and survivor testimony.
