Lyric
Recovery Festival at Carnegie Hall. In 11
sessions in New York, Paris and Prague, Lyric Recovery
has sought to extend the lyric to full potential, presenting,
engendering and visibly rewarding work marked by reach,
craft, content and musicality. The 12th culminates with
this festival session at Carnegie Hall featuring Galway
Kinnell and James Ragan. The reading also featured Mark
Nickels, Nicholas Johnson
(winner of 2000 contest) and Evan
Eisman. Stella Padnos
was a semi-finalist. Lyric Recovery is organized by
philophonema.
